Fulton House Garden Studio in riverdale

Two sessions length are offered Fulton House's Garden Studio, the Original session, 50 minutes long, or the Deluxe session, 1:45 hour long. The portraits at Fulton House Studio can either be photographed using Studio Lighting (camera flash) or with natural light a Sunlight Sketches in the summer months , and its indoor equivalent with Daylight Bulbs. The portraits taken using natural light and the indoor version, are best suited to adults as the exposure times are about 3-8 seconds long. Studio Lighting on the other hand, captures an image instantaneously the moment the flash goes off. It is for this reason that it is best option for families with young children.

Original Tintype: 50 minute tintype session

During these 50 minute portrait sessions I can craft 4 tintype plates. During this session I can typically photograph 1 or 2 compositions or combinations of the client’s choice.

•             The Original session with 4”x5” tintype is $127, including HST.

•             The Original session with Full plate (6.5”x8”) tintype is $147, including HST.

•             Included is a digital copy of your selected plate.

•             The additional tintypes ($30 for a 4x5plate and $45 for a full plate) and digital copies ($20) may also be purchased

Deluxe Tintype: 1:45 hour tintype session

During the 1:45 hour Deluxe portrait session I can craft about 8 tintype plates, often with various compositions to choose from. The longer session also allows for participants to come into the darkroom and view how the images come to be - a process most people find fascinating. More images can be photographed, at a more relaxed pace, which is wise when photographing kids and their ever changing expressions.

•             The Deluxe session with 4”x5” tintype is $197, including HST.

•             The Deluxe session with two Full plate (6.5”x8”) tintypes is $237, including HST.

•             Included is a digital copy of your selected plates.

•             The additional tintypes ($30 for a 4x5plate and $45 for a full plate) and digital copies ($20) may also be purchased

IMAGE SIZE:

Tintypes are available in two sizes, 4”x5” or full plate (6.5”x8”).

AMBROTYPE:

Also, available Ambrotypes. An ambrotype involves the same process as a tintype but the image is captured on to glass instead of an metal plate. Ambrotypes are exquisite to behold, however, they require more preparation. Ambrotypes are available in the full plates in a Deluxe session. Please contact me for further details about an Ambrotype session.
